NEXT STEPS FOR RN-BSN ONLINE STUDENTS

Familiarize Yourself With MAVzone, Your Student Portal

MAVzone provides single sign-on access to your Colorado Mesa University email account, online classes, and network drives. You will also use MAVzone to look up and register for classes, add or drop classes, check grades, view financial aid status, make payments, and more.

To log in to MAVzone, use the network username and password provided via email following your acceptance. If you experience any technical issues, please contact the Information Technology Helpdesk at 970-248-2111.

Apply for Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov. List Colorado Mesa University's code (001358) and your information is automatically submitted to us. You will need a copy of the previous year's federal tax return and W2 statements to complete the online application.

You will receive an email to your CMU email notifying you of what financial aid you have been awarded.

In MAVzone, under the Student Finance tab, you can review and accept the Terms and Conditions, as well as the financial aid award. If you are offered loans, you may accept all or part of each loan. If you only want a portion, state that amount under Accept Partial Amount. Students accepting loans must accept the award, complete a Master Promissory Note and Entrance Loan Counseling.

Important: Be aware that registering for classes incurs a financial obligation. Payment is due for all online classes prior to the first day of class. Please plan accordingly as disbursement of financial aid may follow your payment due date.

As a fully admitted online student you may be eligible for financial aid. Please note, however, that if you have conditional acceptance in the program, you will not be eligible for financial aid until full admittance is granted.
